Make Works Sweden is based in Borås and run through Nordiska Textilakademin by Alex E Melum Heino and Christian Lundell. The team, together with Ida Melum Heino, regularly visit, film and photograph factories, workshops and studios across the country. Sweden became a Make Works region in October 2017. The first 11 manufacturers were visited over the course of a two week road trip. Make Works Sweden is currently in development and will be updated frequently. During this time the site will be running as usual and will have new listings and information added continuously. Our visiting address is: Skaraborgsvägen 3A, 506 30 Borås, Sweden

Team

Alex E Melum Heino

Project Manager Alex is our project manager and is in charge of factory research and contact, scheduling visits, photography, and social media. Outside of Make Works he is a jazz drummer/composer as well as a graphic designer.

Christian Lundell

Project Coordinator Christian is the CEO of Nordiska Textilakademin. He makes sure we can continue our work of listing makers in Sweden by sourcing partners and managing logistics.

Ida Melum Heino

Filming and Editing Apart from being behind the film camera on location, Ida is also the editor for all the videos here on Make Works Sweden. When not visiting factories she works as a motion graphics- and stop motion animator. See her work on: www.idamelum.com

Minna Engström Heino

Project Strategy Minna is the Creative Director and the head of the design- and separate courses at Nordiska Textilakademin. For Make Works she is in charge of project strategy and communications.
