Company History
Building instruments started as a hobby during Basil Azizoghly's last year at university in 2013. When he moved back to Dubai after university, he started working at his family business as a production engineer making fiberglass sheets. He soon took stock of all the wood working machinery and surplus materials littered all over the industrial area and started making stringed instruments with whatever materials he could find. He has been a builder and a guitarist since childhood, and these two passions came together to form Howlin' Rooster. Building instruments is now very much a part of who Basil is.
