Company History
Modern Clay is a ceramics studio set up in 2017 and since 2019 has been run by co-operative membership. It is based in Digbeth, Birmingham and is a working studio run by its seven artist members. We offer workshops, bespoke commissions and a firing service. Our approach is open and responsive, but centred around our three priorities: artists, education and outreach.
