Company History
L J Millington is a family owned business based in Birmingham. It was founded in 1966 by Leonard Millington who was still actively involved in the running of the business until July 2012 at the age of 83. The company continues to trade as a partnership, the principals being Leonard’s wife, Mary and his son Steven. Their core business has always been the ancient process of metal spinning and they specialise in producing silver giftware. Their highly skilled craftsmen have, between them, over 150 years’ experience in the silversmithing trade and they are able to offer all the traditional, and many of the new, emerging, silversmithing techniques.
