Production Specifics
Glasgow Press offer skilled letterpress printing. Tools and techniques used include photopolymer plate making equipment, variety of wood and lead type, printing, foiling and folding. Printing on many substrates, from 60gsm bible paper to 1850gsm coaster board. We print with a heavy impression unless otherwise specified (e.g kiss impression). Clients can come with just an idea but ideally understand the basics of the process and have press ready PDF files.

Company History
First established in 1870, Glasgow Press continue to offer fine letterpress printing to firms and individuals throughout the UK and beyond. The company was originally 'The Govan Printing Company' and has been owned by the same family since 1962. In the 1970s, the company moved from Govan, and the name was changed.
