Production Specifics

Galloway Granite can produce almost anything in stone, using a stock of 30 granites, from the UK and around the world. This includes a selection of colours and grains, from dense black to ivory white including browns, reds, blues and greens. Work can also be produced from clients' own materials, such as field boulders or sandstone blocks. Typical clients include architects, civil engineers, interior designers, artists, sculptors, councils and individuals looking for high-quality masonry for projects large and small. Examples include collaboration with Gordon Young at Auchterarder School; working with sculptor Hideo Furuta to create a large carved granite sphere for Creetown's Adamson Square redevelopment. The company were also involved with the Eric Morecambe Memorial Stage at Morecambe sea front (inset granite circles, stars and typography, and lettered granite steps.) New clients can come with just an idea and then begin working through the production process.
