Production Specifics

Esk Glazing Design Studio have kilns, sand blasters and a glass bandsaw in house and have capacity to work with bespoke one offs, samples production and batch production. As Emma and Grace Mcdermott work closely with customers to produce the unique panels, the process from drawing up designs, ordering in the required glass and lead along with producing the panel takes a minimum of 4-6 weeks. In addition to their workshop in Montrose, Esk Glazing also have showrooms in Dundee and Arbroath.

Company History

The stained glass studio was Incorporated into Esk’s business portfolio in 2005. After graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee Emma McDermott who specialises in stained glass now runs the Design Studio at Esk Glazing along with her sister Grace McDermott who joined the team two years ago.
