Painting, staining and cutting cold glass. Acid etching work and sandblasting facilities are also on site. A gas kiln is for firing painted glass. Electric kiln is used for cast work. Typical clients are architects. artists and church administrators typically making windows, mirrors, panels or trophies. A basic understanding of the process is fine, ideally with an understanding of which service / process / machine / material is required.

Company History

Richard studied stained glass at Swansea Art School. After working in glass studios around the country he settled on Arran where he already had a house. The studio is in Brodick, but most customers are from Glasgow and its suburbs. There is also some passing trade in the tourist season and local work.
