Production Specifics
Podbox specialise in laser and CNC cutting although they can also fabricate small and large timber products. Podbox mainly works with artists, students, jewellery designers and architects. There is no previous knowledge required, and you can get in touch whether you’ve just got an idea, an early sketch or if you’ve got ready-to-go drawings and files. The laser cutter bed is 600x400mm and the CNC bed is 1.2m x 2.4m.

Company History
With a background in architecture and after years working in the building industry Alan set up Podbox in 2010 to provide advice and a production service to the Glasgow’s creatives. Podbox has recently moved into a new workshop in Trongate in order to be more accessible for clients. Podbox’s very central location means that it’s easy for people to visit and be involved in the making process.
