Company History

McRostie was established in 1887 as a traditional harness maker and saddlers' ironmongers in Glasgow. In the 1980's the Campbell family bought the company and formed McRostie of Glasgow Ltd in 1986. Today all of their products are made in their workshop based in the outskirts of Glasgow, using the traditional craft skills of the harnessmaker and with many of the same tools that were used over 100 years ago.
