Production Specifics
Nancy uses pure gold, and applies it using gesso (a white preparation substance made from rabbit skin glue) onto a wide range of surfaces. Collaborations take place with other makers, such as woodcarvers or digital technologies such as laser cutting. She has worked on traditional restoration projects, architecture, interior panels, bespoke whisky packaging, mirrors, and furniture pieces. Commission lead times are project specific.
