Production Specifics
Our machine is equipped with a 100W laser with a height adjustable 1200 x 800mm cutting bed. This means that larger pieces can be fed through and cut or etched. Materials can range from delicate papers through to 7 to 10mm thick acrylic, wood and mdf. Our set up allows us to cut wood cleanly in one pass. Print quality artwork needs to be provided. This should be 300dpi + at size to be engraved. Advice can be provided on artwork detail. Typical clients are jewellery makers, musical instrument makers, engineering companies, distilleries, design companies, colleges and artists. Projects can be one offs up to 1000's. Turnaround time depends on size of job, but meets customer's deadlines where possible and realistic (will advise!). Price is around £1/minute for consultation, artwork, production and finishing time.
