Clay based commissions and ceramic object repair. Specific skills are in mould making, casting, throwing, clay hand building, press moulding, modelling, slipcasting, glazing, kiln building, kiln operation and kiln maintenance. Moulds can be made using plaster, gel flex, silicone, sand, rubber or for casting concrete and glass. Typical clients include product designers, makers, small businesses, professional artists, architectural feature designers, prop makers and art students. A basic understanding of the process is fine, and helpful if new projects come with sketches, a budget or project timeline. Set and tailor made educational courses and tutoring are also offered. Ceramic design is also available directly from the maker.
