Production Specifics
Working on private commissions for tableware, wedding gifts, architectural ceramics and collaborative projects. Further pieces of equipment include ceramic hand building tools, slab roller and a clay extruder. No previous knowledge is required. Typical clients are anybody interested, but prefer to work on custom commissions or collaborations. Scale is for individual items to multiples of tens or more.

Company History
Julia Smith graduated with a BA (Hons) in Ceramics from Glasgow School of Art in 1996. She then worked as a community and public artist, based in Glasgow Sculpture Studios from 1998- 2007. She then became the owner of Deepfired Ceramic Studio in Govan running ceramics classes and commissions from 2007 - 2010. At this point, she moved to a private studio in Ardersier working on studio pottery and exhibition pieces.
