Specialist manufacturers of waxed and oiled cottons. Bespoke colours can be prepared for the client; and new finishes created or refined from traditional techniques. Clients can also supply raw cotton material (eg printed) and have it waxed for performance and waterproofing from 4 metres. Company History
Fabric was waterproofed in the 19th century in linen and linseed oil. In the 20th century this changed to cotton and paraffin wax - a more durable and breathable fabric. An icon of the outdoors, on the riverbanks to boats across the oceans, in farms and in forests. Waxed Cotton is also associated with motorcycling.
