Production Specifics
Glasgow Sculpture Studios have a wide variety of wood, metal, and digital fabrication machines in-house. Their CNC Router has a 4x8 bed and an extended Z axis and their Kilns can be used up to a temperature of 1300 degrees celsius. They can produce everything from bespoke one off pieces up to large production runs. Glasgow Sculpture Studios work on public art commissions, artworks for galleries, prototypes for designers, furniture for architects and interior designers and props for theatres and festivals. No previous knowledge is required and you can just send over a small sketch and an outline budget to start with which will enable them to put together concept renderings and a quote.

Company History
Glasgow Sculpture Studios was originally set up in 1988 as a small artist run studio space. It has grown over the years and is now one of the leading centers for sculpture production in the UK. The work of Glasgow Sculpture Studios comprises of three main sections; membership to the space, artistic program, and the commercial fabrication that they carry out. The commercial arm of their business allows them to subsidise and support a community of professional artists.
