Company History

Tin Roof Art Collective is a community of artists looking to provide opportunities for one another and the local area. Their core aim is to see Dundee flourish by pursuing the arts and providing what artists need to continue to live and work in the city. The collective was founded in 2010 by a group of graduates from Dundee’s Duncan of Jordanstone College and continues to be run by a voluntary committee of artist members who help with the day to day running of the organisation. Tin Roof Ceramics Collective and Workshop is an evolution of Tin Roof Arts Collective, which aims to gather together artists from across Scotland to share skills and experience in ceramics practice. In addition to the workshop, Tin Roof facilitate a series of events, exhibitions and workshops throughout the year.
