Today is Small Business Saturday! We’ve put together a list festive pop ups in Glasgow and Edinburgh not to miss if you are trying to support small businesses this Christmas.

1. Etsy Made Local: 3rd and 4th December
, The Briggait, Glasgow

Featuring a huge number of locally grown makers, the Etsy Made Local shop takes places this weekend at The Briggait. Look out for Nikki McWilliams, East End Press, Celia Stamp and laser cut jewellery by Bonnie Bling

Open 11.30-6.30pm, over 2 days.

 

2. Riso Room: until 4th December, South Block, Glasgow

Glasgow based graphic designer Gabiella diTano has been running the Riso Room at South Block over the whole of November. With an incredible array of apparel, prints and stationary to buy, the shop finishes this weekend with a super sale this Sunday!

Open 10 - 5pm until 4th December.

3. Grey Wolf Sale: GreyWolf Studios, 9th December
, Glasgow

The residents of Grey Wolf Studios are opening their studio doors on the 9th of December to host an evening of festive fun with some of their favourite designer/maker friends! Featuring Garnet McCulloch, Hilary Grant, India Street Bazaar and Object Company

Open 4-8pm one night only. 

4. Customs and Excise: 10th December, SWG3, Glasgow

Adventure carry manufacturers Trakke are opening their workshop for the day for a one-day chilled shopping experience. They've brought together some of their favourite brands: Including Instrmnt, Banton Frameworks, ten30, Dear Green Coffee Roasters, a visual agency and Design by Zag

Open 10-5pm, one day only.

5. Kestin Hare 3rd and 4th December, Custom Lane, Edinburgh  

Fashion designer Kestin Hare is hosting a pre-Christmas Pop-Up Shop and sample sale. Selling off past season stock and one of a kind samples, he’s also brought in fashion brands such as HANCOCK, Patagonia, VEJA & People Footwear and Han Kjobenhavn.

While you are at Custom Lane you can pop into Edinburgh Tool Library, or take a look at the new Custom Made exhibition by Craft Scotland and GRAS.

6. Form and Balance: until 12th December, Many Studios, Glasgow

The FORM + BALANCE Concept Store has popped up at MANY STUDIOS in Glasgow and features designers such as Catherine MacGruer Knit, Kind Collection and Emma McDowall. Selling homewares, fashion, jewellery, stationary, ceramics and prints the team have curated every product in store.

7. Accessory Collective: until 18th December, 3 Hill Street, Edinburgh

Running for it's second year, the Accessory Collective is based from design studios 3 Hill Street - right in the centre of Edinburgh. They have a large selection of handmade gifts, jewellery, accessories and homewares. Featuring ESK Cashmere, Fun Makes Good, Hatti Pattisson, Iona Crawford, Jode Pankhurst Ceramics, Karen Mabon and Laura Spring

Open daily from 10am - 7pm 

8. Tea Green Events 10th and 11th December, Kibble Palace, Glasgow

Featuring over 50 makers, artists and designers from Scotland, Tea Green events will be popping up to sell textiles, jewellery, ceramics, glass, illustration at Kibble Palace in Glasgow. 

10-4pm, over 2 days.

9. Edinburgh Printmakers Market: 4th December, Edinburgh 

The annual Edinburgh Printmakers Christmas Market takes place this Sunday, with over 14 local makers selling traditional hand made prints, books, cards, textiles and jewellery. Plus treats on sale from Manna House bakery!

Open 11-4pm, one day only.

10. Unit Sixty: 8th December, South Block, Glasgow

For their second year, UNIT 60 are back at South Block with their designer pop-up featuring a curated selection of unique lifestyle products and gifts. Featuring Edition Scotland, Instrmnt, Heather Shields and Tom Pigeon.

11. Glasgow Sculpture Studios, 9th December, The Whisky Bond, Glasgow

Joining forces with Grey Wolf Studio Sale, the members of Glasgow Sculpture Studios and The Whisky Bond will be selling their work over a festive evening on Friday, 9th December.

12. Sleazies Hygge, 11th December, Glasgow

Sleazies Hygge is a danish-style craft fair in Nice n sleazies on Sauchihall Street. Featuring both artists and designers, you can lookout for Flux Laser Studio, Mariella Ceramics and Rosemary Cunningham Illustration.
